The first cast photo for Dept. Q series 2 has been released, along with finally more information about the series 2 cast.

We can only assume this means that Kelly MacDonald will not be back as Dr. Rachel Irving and Chloe Pirrie will not be back as Merritt Lingard. Still no word on a possible release date. Filming began in Edinburgh and Aberdeen in May this year and is said to run through at least October.
